Gnome is a co-operative that creates Gnomes who are self-aware and creative. These gnomes are placed on the streets of Los Angeles to make people aware of environmental threats and problems around the world. This shirt was inspired by the suicide of Jody Kriss, an African American woman who committed herself to her church. She died after taking anti-depressant pills on a daily basis for depression due to it affecting her productivity as she worked at her job. When we saw this design and thought about how Jody Kross would acquire our T-shirts, we immediately thought of Kristin’s mother Kristen from Invasion Of Privacy. The design is simple and very minimalistic – just like Kristen’s mom.
